Temporary Press Operator

Make ready, operate and turn on press, air feed and check lubricant levels at the beginning of production to maintain required quality and quantity of production.

Responsible for visual and gauge inspection of the parts produced by the press while it is operating. Ability to stop the press and report problem to Forperson immediately if any deviation from the gauge or visual defect is observed.

Raw material metal should be checked frequently, make sure the water level in the pan is full and be sure the water pump is working.

Responsible for preparing each new coil to be loaded and for housekeeping aroudn the press area and dump scraps in proper drum designated by metal alloy.

Working hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Ability to lift 20 pounds, must be able to meet quality standards, job involves standing most of the shift, mechanical aptitiude and agility to move around press units. Flexibility to be assigned other duties as needed.
